The Competition Commission of India had imposed fines on Karnataka Film Chamber, TV and Producers Association for the Ban on dubbed content in Kannada. Earlier Kannada films struggled due to the dubbed films. Most of kannada people preferred dubbed flicks, Then Kannada Industry banned dubbing content in Karnataka to help in growing Kannada flicks.Now, Competition Commission of India decided that the ban on dubbed content is a violated business laws. So its the time for re-entry of dubbed films in Karnataka.
